Merry Christmas – go for a ride
Merry Christmas to all my Women Who Cycle followers. I’m very grateful to have you in my circle.
I’m not going to recommend that you sit around and eat too much for Christmas, instead you should go for ride on your favourite bike. It’s exactly what I do every Christmas Day with a group of friends. We are lucky enough to live in the beautiful city of Sydney so we head for the Opera House but there are plenty of other great locations. This is our 2013 ride group. You’ll notice that we are very inclusive and have men, women and children along for the ride.

Thanks for your blog Nicola & look forward to reading next year! We meet in Carlton, Melbourne each year on Christmas Day & have a leisurely ride down to Black Rock & back for a morning coffee and chat – then its off to a Christmas lunch to indulge 🙂
Hi Nicola, your post inspired us – but the weather did not. We did go for a christmas eve cycle around newcastle tho. I love the idea of celebrating special occassions with a social ride. Our little group usually rides on a sunday evening in newcastle, so we’re having our celebratory ride tonight. Cheers to all.
